WHAT IS SWIFT MICROWAVE?

SWIFT MICROWAVE is an old technology given a new purpose. SWIFT MICROWAVE is a condensed version of the the conventional box like household microwave. Microwave cooks your food but SWIFT MICROWAVE technically cooks your skin lesion from the inside out. SWIFT MICROWAVE has a stylus tip which emits micro wave lengths when fired directly to the skin. This can destroy the abnormal cells on the skin and will clear off the abnormal cell, therefore halting its growth and treating the lesion.

IS SWIFT MICROWAVE A DANGEROUS FORM OF RADIATION?

No. SWIFT MICROWAVE is a wave length which is safe and does not fall under the category of ionizing radiation which can be harmful.

HOW DOES SWIFT MICROWAVE WORK?

SWIFT MICROWAVE is a simple principle which uses rule of energy tranferance. The Micro wave has low amplitude and high frequency. This high frequency is transfered to food containing cells and in the cells there are water molecules, which causes the water molecules to vibrate at a rapid rate there for producing energy.

You cannot produce a fire by slowly rubbing two sticks together. This principle is similar like starting a fire, where a sitck is rubbed against another piece of wood at a rapid rate and therefore creating heat.

Microwave high frequency is transferred to the skin cells which contains water molecules, these water molecules vibrate rapidly and emits heat energy to cook the cells or destroy the cells.

Similarly the skin lesion's cells vibrate rapidly when the SWIFT MICROWAVE stylus tip is applied to the skin and the microwave transfers the energy to the cell's water molecules therefore destroying the cells from the inside out.

WHAT IS THE EFFICACY OF SWIFT MICROWAVE?

Based on clinical study of SWIFT MICROWAVE the efficacy is 82% clearance but may require a few sessions. It's success rate is higher than liquid nitrogen and spot on acid treatment.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF SWIFT MICROWAVE?

Prior to treatment, you will be asked to sign a consent form and a photo of the area will be taken for reference for future treatments. We will be exposing the area to be treated.

Patient with low tolerability to pain may require some anesthesia to reduce the discomfort. Once all set up, the probe of the machine will be in contact with the lesion for 2-3 seconds and treatment will be repeated 3-5 times. Upon contact there is a beep-beep sound.

You may feel some discomfort such as sudden heat or a sharp sensation on the area which can last for about 2-3 seconds while the probe is in contact with your skin. The time it takes to perform the treatment will depend on the size of the lesion.

After the treatment, you will be advised when you should have your next session. It is unusual for a lesion to fully disappear after just 1 treatment, so further sessions will be needed. There shouldn’t be any pain when you leave the clinic, and you can go about your daily activities as normal.

IS SWIFT MICROWAVE PAINFUL?

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED TO CLEAR WARTS WITH SWIFT MICROWAVE?

SWIFT Microwave is slightly painful but bearable. SWIFT MICROWAVE when applied to the skin will induce the tissues to heat up to about 45 degrees celsius. You will be expecting a pain score of 4-5/10.

Each person will have different tolerance to pain. If you are unable to tolerate the pain therefore we can always do a nerve block to anaesthetize the area to reduce the pain.

On average you will need about 3-4 treatments or until clearance. There are less severe cases which can be cleared in 1 session.

HOW LONG IS THE DURATION OF TREATMENT WITH SWIFT MICROWAVE?

Usually maximum duration of SWIFT MICROWAVE will be about 15 minutes. SWIFT MICROWAVE has a replacement head for the machine to fire the wart with microwave. The head is designed as a single use for one patient and can operate for 15 minutes only. If severe cases, it may be possible that one client will require two or more replacement heads.

HOW LONG WILL THE DOWNTIME BE AFTER SWIFT MICROWAVE?

Almost no downtime. You can begin to walk around immediately. The wart may started to form blisters, crust and become a scab which will fall off naturaly.
