PCR is more sensitive as compared to RTK. PCR offers about 95-96% sensitivity and RTK is about 88-90% sensitivity. Does travelling from West Malaysia to East Malaysia require a COVID-19 swab test? It is not recommended to take swabs from only one nostril as the swab is able to pick up lesser sampling as compared to taking swabs from both nostrils and mouth. Swabbing both nostrils and mouth is better and helps to make the test more accurate and sensitive. Is it possible to have an RTK test be negative for COVID-19 but positive for COVID-19 in a PCR test?
